Variable Angle Troughing Sets (or adjustable troughing sets) have no external side roller supports and require only one shaft to extend from the bottom of the roller. Each side roller can be hand adjusted to change the angle, which changes the associated trough angle of the conveyor belt – allowing for quick and simple belt alignment adjustments, preventing the need for shutdown.

Variable Angle Troughing Sets and Return Rollers – Variable Angle Troughing Idlers incorporate adjustable wing rollers which maybe set at increments from 20 degree to 60 degree, enabling the belt to run at either conventional or deep troughing angles. The rollers can be easily adjusted, and the angle can be varied adjacent to the head and tail drums, to ensure smooth transition from trough to flat conditions without undue belt stress. Return rollers to suit are also available and are built to the same standards as the troughing idlers.

The centre roller of the Variable Angle Troughing Sets and Return Rollers is offset allowing for any material spillage or trapped material to fall away therefore eliminating obstruction of the rotating roller. This is further assisted by using an angle Iron base frame which does not allow and material build up across the frame.
